Crawford Notch

Vance: Crawford Notch was our only campground in New Hampshire. One exciting fact was it was very close to Mt. Washington. This was one of my favorite campgrounds. It turned out the people who owned the campground had a corgi and a dachshund. The corgi’s name is Tilly, and the dachshund’s name is Dudley.

They had cottages made of logs and the bathhouse was made of logs. Mostly the adults were saying they had beaver dams at the back of the campground. So, on our final day Dad and I went around the campground to see them. We were in luck, the beaver dams were exactly were they said. I even got close to one. Later I even found marks of beaver teeth on some of the trees.

CAMPGROUND NEAR A LOCATION OF HISTORY!
